Savio Fernandes gave the early lead to the Lappits in the 10th minute with a clean chip over the Nagoa custodian who could not keep his nerves cool and made a foil attempt by coming out of the penalty area.
In the 25th minute, the Nagoa keeper yet again gave away an easy chance to make it 2-0 for the Nuvem side while taking the goal kick and in haste gave away the ball to Lappit’s Rexon Fernandes, who made the way for Savio Fernandes to find his second of the match.
Lappits were leading 2-0 at the break. Nagoa strikers lacked the spirit to find the equalizer as they were hardly seen around the opponents’ goal area.
Nagoa keeper Baniston Barretto tried his best under the bar and did not allow the Nuvem side to add to the score sheet.
Meanwhile, Pipper Boys will take on Crist Rei Youth Club on Saturday.
