The Greens took the lead as early in the 10th minute when Naro headed in powerfully a good cross by Samson.
Samson was the architect yet again when a short corner taken by Lalit saw him whip the ball in for Naro to score his second. Salgaocar netted their third in the 27th minute when Steffen scored off a cross from Jason. Jason found himself on the score sheet in the very next minute as he tapped home the rebound of a Naro Hari shot on goal.
Salgaocar were able to score two more before half time when Naro found Steffen, whose shot on the turn found the corner of the net in the 41st minute and two minutes later, he chipped over an onrushing keeper to complete his hat-trick.
Leading 6-0 at the breather, Salgaocar juniors took the foot off the gas, but yet added two more in the second half to complete the rout. Steffen completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute when he headed in a cross from Jason. A self-goal in the 90th minute was the final nail in the Dempo coffin. With this win, Salgaocar Juniors now have seven points from three outings, having won two matches and drawn one.
