RAIA: SC Davorlim got the better of St Anthony SC, Assolda, 3-1 to move to the quarter-finals of the 29th Mandopa Cup, at Mandopa ground, on Wednesday.
Delton Colaco of Davorlim was the star of the match who scored a hat-trick while Bribon Dias was the lone goalscorer for Assolda.
Velroy Colaco of Davorlim missed chances to score in the sixth and 19th minutes respectively while for Assolda Wildon Fernandes shot wide in the 23rd minute.
Davorlim netted the first goal of the match through Delton Colaco with a placement shot in the 47th minute. Davorlim further inflated the lead through Delton Colaco in the 59th minute. Brivon Dias after dribbling past a couple of Davorlim defenders shot from close range and netted to make it 1-2 in the 56th minute. It was Delton Colaco of Davorlim who netted the third goal with a placement shot in the 62nd minute.
