RAIA: Sporting Club of Davorlim downed CAC Cansaulim 2-0 in the inaugural match to move into the quarter-finals of 32nd St Rock Super Soccer Calata-Majorda organised in memory of Sebastiao Cirilio Dias at Calata ground, Majorda, on Monday.
SC Davorlim netted the first goal of the match through Royson Colaco in the 24th minute. As the match progressed in the 30th minute, Elvino Fernandes missed a chance to score for CAC Cansaulim.
It was Selvino Miranda of Sporting Club of Davorlim who netted a second goal for SC Davorlim in the 56th minute.
Earlier, Anita Dias declared the tournament opened and awarded the man-of-the-match award to Royson Colaco of Sporting Club of Davorlim.
