PANJIM: SCC Cavelossim were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Goa Police in the Geno-Goa Football Association 1st Division League match played at Raia ground, on Wednesday.
Cavelossim missed a chance to close the gap at the top as the draw leaves them with 22 points from 10 games while Goa Police stay on nine points from nine outings.
Neither side were able to break the deadlock in the ninety minutes of the duel as good goalkeeping from Goa Police side restricted the Cavelossim strikers.
Goa Police’s goalkeeper Niklesh Naik was awarded the man-of-the-match for his performance throughout the game.
