PANJIM: SCC Loutolim registered a 2-1 win over Ave Maria AWC in the GFA U-16 League at Astro turf ground, on Sunday.
Melroy Fernandes netted a brace for the winners with both goals coming in the second half. Ave Maria AWC pulled a goal back in the second half added time through Devkaran Ram.
At Assonora ground, Dunes Sports Club came from behind to beat Youth Sports Colvale 2-1. Colvale took the lead in the 8th minute through Irfan Shiledan. Dunes’ Swayan Mandrekar equalised in the 38th minute and Chandraknat put them ahead in the 49th minute which turned out to be the match-winner.
