MARGAO: SCC Loutolim defeated Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda 6-2 in the GFA 3rd Division Football League at Raia ground, on Wednesday.
In the first half, SCC Loutolim were leading 3-1.
SCC Loutolim took the lead early in the 3rd minute through Sanford Fernandes’ ground shot off a supply by Francis Alvares.
Don Bosco Oratory managed to equalise in the 12th minute through Myron Borges’ powerful grounder. But SCC Loutolim didn’t allow their spirit to cool down as Francis Alvares in the 17th minute with a solo effort increased the lead.
Soon Sanford made it 3-1 in the 28th minute with a ground shot off a well connected pass by Francis.
Crossing over, Don Bosco Oratory doubled their score in the 42nd minute when Franklin Barbosa’s ground shot landed into the rival goal.
Thereafter, SCC Loutolim pumped in three more goals. Oswald Dias, 55th minute; Doyal Alvares,70th minute and Francis Cardozo. Sanford assisted in all goals.
