Schools football, chess, baseball selection trials

The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will hold selection trials in football girls U-17, baseball boys and girls U-19 and chess boys and girls U-14, U-17, U-19 to select probables for the Phase-I pre-national coaching camps to select the State teams for the 56th National School Games to be held in Goa from November 10-14.
The football trials will be held on August 10 from 9 to 2 p.m. at Peddem complex, Mapusa, on August 11 from 9 to 2 p.m. at Raia, Manora. Bonafide strudents studying upto Std X and born on or after 1-1-1994 are eligible.
The baseball trials will be held on August 10 from 10 to 2 p.m. at Fatorda open complex for boys and on August 11 from 10 to 2 p.m. at Fatorda for girls.
The chess trials will be held on August 9 from 10 to 2 p.m. at SAG conference hall, Campal for U-14 boys and girls; on August 10 from 10 to 2 p.m. at SAG, Campal for U-17 boys and girls and on August 11 from 10 to 2 p.m. at SAG, Campal for U-19 boys and girls. For U-14, those born on or after 1-1-1997 and studying upto Std VII are eligible. For U-17, those born on or after 1-1-1994 and studying upto Std X are eligible. For U-19, those born on or after 1-1-1992 and studying upto Std XII are eligible.
Students have been asked to report with I-card, kit, authority letter from the head of the school.
