Sea Pearls and Unique Boys were held to a 1-1 draw at half time.
In the first quarter, Sea Pearls strikers attacked the rival citadel with ease and took the lead through Slachie Fernandes, whose shot crushed straight into the nylon of Unique Boys off a supply from Raymond Fernandes.
Unique Boys soon equalised with the help of Raymond Pereira’s header in the 26th minute off a cross by Joao Pereira.
Crossing over, the teams tried to score the match winner.
Sea Pearls in the 38th minute came close in scoring but Raymond’s solo effort long ranger hit the goal post and went out of play.
Thereafter, the ball was mostly confined to the midfield and the defence of both teams avoided the threats.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw. In the tie-breaker, Sea Pearls performed well by scoring three goals while Unique Boys netted lone goal.
