MAPUSA: Sesa Football Academy and Dempo SC registered easy victories in their respective encounters of the GFA U-16 League match played on Monday.
Sesa FA trounced Dunes Dunes Sports Club Mandrem by 4-0 at Sanquelim grounds.
Sesa Academy lads after their defeat against Dempo Sports Club started brightly against their opponents and went into the breather with a two goals cushion.
It was Dwyght Lee who scored two quick goals in the 20th and 30th minute of play, from close quarters.
On crossing over, Sesa lads once again were all over the Mandrem territory and after a couple of missed chances Omkar Shetgaonkar netted a brace scoring in the 70th and 76th minute of play.
At Duler Stadium, Mapusa, Dempo SC registered a fluent 3-0 win over El-Shaddai SCC.
Sanford Colaco drew the first blood for the Panjim side in the 10th minute of play.
On resumption of play Lydran Mascarenhas doubled the lead in the 43rd minute with Sanford Colaco netting his brace to take the score tally to 3-0.
