MAPUSA: Sesa Football Academy got the better of Dempo Juniors by 2-1 margin to make their way into the final of the Friendship Cup, played at Duler Stadium, here on Thursday.
After a barren first half Sesa broke the deadlock in the 60th minute of play through Omkar who then went on to score his brace in the 80th minute.
In the final stages of the match Dempo reduced the margin through Steven Fernandes who positioned himself perfectly to slot the ball home, 22-1.
Sesa will now meet Sporting Clube de Goa in the finals which, to be held on June 4, at Duler Stadium.
In the league encounter Sesa FA lost to Sporting Clube de Goa by 2-0 margin, but went out to win the other league matches against FC Goa by 3-0 margin and Andaman and Nicobar by 2-1 margin.
