MARGAO: Sesa Football Academy thrashed Churchill Brothers FC Goa 5-0 in the GFA U15 I Division league, at Dramapur ground, on Sunday.
Sesa Football academy started the match on an attacking note.Ferren Gonsalves broke the deadlock in the 11th minute for the winners. Sesa Football Academy doubled the lead through Sakib Vanti in the 14th minute Nikesh Khoirom scored the third in the 36th minute.
In the second half, the captain Ravi Patel shot the ball on target in the 53 minute. Saksham Sawant scored the fifth goal for the winners. Ravi Patel of Sesa Football Academy and Riyan Asampur of Churchill Brothers were given a direct red in the 86th minute.
At Sinquetin ground, Dempo Sports Club defeated Salgaocar FC 5-3. Karan Maratha opened the scoring for Dempo Sports Club in the 25th minute. The score was doubled for the winners through Vishal Chawan.
Asher Carvalho tried to reduce the deficit by scoring a brace for Salgaocar FC. Yug Yekar, Jodric Abranches and Phati Mayekar scored respectively for Dempo SC. Suraj Thapa scored the third goal for the losing team.
