DULER: Sesa Football Academy claimed the GFA’s U-20 2nd Division League title as they scored a fluent 3-0 win over Dunes Sports Club played at Duler stadium, Mapusa, on Friday.
All the goals were scored in the first session of play.
Both the teams started off the match with vigour and aimed at scoring the first goal as they went for the kill displaying an attacking style of play.
However it was Sesa FA who got the much needed win thus claiming the title for themselves.
It was Cyres Noronha who opened the account for Sesa Football Academy in the 20th minute of play when his rasping right footer from the edge of the box had no answer from the Dunes SC custodian.
After some midfield action Sesa doubled their lead in the 30th minute of play through Kunal Salgaocar. Five minutes into the match Kunal netted in his brace to give his side a 3-0 goal advantage.
Crossing over, Kunal almost completed his hat-trick, however his effort from close range missed Dunes SC goal.
