PANJIM: Sesa Goa as part its youth and sports development initiatives, organised a series of football pop-up camps between July 15-19 with great enthusiasm and success at the Ideal High School, Pilgao and Sri Mahamaya High School, Maem, which witnessed participation from over 150 students ranging from grades 1 to 10.
Young football enthusiasts were provided an opportunity to enhance their skills, foster a love for the sport, encourage active participation. The aim is to nurture talent, promote teamwork, inspire a passion for healthy physical activities among the youth.
The participants were engaged in various football drills and exercises, focusing on developing essential skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. The coaches also imparted valuable insights into the game, emphasizing on the importance of teamwork, discipline, dedication, sportsmanship.
