PANJIM: Sesa Football Academy scored a comfortable 2-0 win over St Domnic Savio Sports Club in the Goa Football Association U-16 League match played at Sesa ground, Sanquelim, on Thursday.
The winners led 1-0 at the break after Aditya Talwar netted the first for the winners in the 14 th minute. The goal turned out to be the only real action of the first half.
In the second half, Aman Sawant doubled the tally in the 53rd minute. St Domnic Savio tried to get back into the game but they failed to match the academy boys’ pace.
Meanwhile at the Rosary ground, Navelim, Salgaocar Football Club showed no mercy as they thumped CRSC Navelim 6-0.
The Greens had six different scorers as Jordan Borges opened the scoring in the 9th minute before Joswell Cardozo doubled the tally for the Greens in the 14th minute. Lindney Lucas scored the third in the next minute as the winners led 3-0 at the break.
Crossing over, Alinton Fernandes. Slevin Demelo and Joasle Fernandes also got onto the score sheet for the winners.
