MAPUSA: St Thomas Boys High School, Aldona thrashed Dr Ambedkar English School, Cunchelim 6-0 to move into the quarter-finals of Bardez Taluka Subroto Mukherjee U-14 boys tournament, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Thursday.
In another match, Saraswat Vidyalaya defeated St Anthony’s HS, Duler by a solitary goal.
In the third match, Holy Cross HS, Bastora registered a 6-5 win over St Britto’s High School Mapusa via the tie-breaker, after a goalless draw.
In the last match, a fine brace by in-form striker Yuvraj Chodankar helped SFX Siolim defeat Sacred Heart of Jesus HS, Anjuna 2-1.
