PANJIM: A brilliant partnership by Samesh Solapurkar (64) and Paresh Gaokar (61) guided Shantadurga Wagheshwar, Khandola to a comfortable seven wickets victory over Madanant Cricket Club and helped them into the semi-finals of the Betim United T20 Cricket tournament, at SAG ground, Campal, on Tuesday.
After winning the toss Madanant elected to bat and scored 179 for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Shantadurga had no difficulty to surpass the total losing only three wickets and won by seven wickets comfortably.
Samesh Solapure of Shantadurga Khandola was adjudged as the man-of-the-match.
