PANJIM: Sharada Mandir High School represented by Joy Kakodkar won the Tiswadi Taluka level inter-school chess tournament organised by Azmane School.
Joy scored 4.5 points from five rounds. Rosary High School represented by Ayush Naik stood second with 4 points while Hedgewar High School represented by Avaneesh Sawant and Mushtifund High School represented by Vedant Angle finished 3rd and 4th respectively.
Mahesh Candolkar, GCA president was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Ramarao Wagh, Digamber Kankonkar, Dinesh Santinekar, Arvind Mhamal , Dattaram Pinge, Gaurish Kankonkar, Shivkumar.
