PANJIM: Sheetal Bhosale won the finals of two categories at the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open, played Club Gaspar Dias, Miramar, on Wednesday.
In the men’s veterans doubles 120+ Sheetal Bhonsale and Mohun Ghatge competed and won against Abdul Rahiman and Ganesh Pai (6-2, 6-4) and took home the title.
In the Men’s Veterans 55+ category, Sheetal Bhosale won against Ajeet Kulkarni a 6-1.
With the crowds behind him Rajendra (Bulu) Godinho came out with his ‘A’ game for the final and won (6-3, 6-2) against Parag. All through the tournament Bulu and Parag have been playing sublime tennis.
Yenepoya Farhaad and Abdul Salam defeated Kevin Rebelo and Sachin Dhukle (6-2, 3-6, 10-7) to win the Men’s Veterans Doubles 90+.
