RAIA: SSC Loutolim moved into the quarter-finals defeating Ambelim SC 3-1of 1st Antonio Rebelo memorial football tournament organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
SSC Loutolim scored the first goal through Shelford Fernandes in the 12 minute. Immediately, Shelford scored his second goal for SSC Loutolim in the 17th minute to complete his brace. Ambelim SC pulled a goal back through Velroy Rebello in the 27th minute.
In the second half, SSC Loutolim scored the third goal through Ignatius D’Silva in the 47th minute. Shelford Fernandes (SSC Loutolim) was given the man-of-the-match, while Jurico Correia (Ambelim SC) was presented the best defender of the match by Vincent Rodrigues, treasurer, Curtorim Gymkhana.
