Shivam, Ismail, Punit and Omkar of OL of Piety scored in the tie-breaker while their opponents could covert only thrice.

COLLEM: The Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem edged past Abinav Vidya Mandir, Mollem 6-5 via the tie-breaker to emerge victorious in under-17 boys Subroto Mukerjee inter-school football tournament Dharbandoda taluka organized by DSYA, at Mollem village panchayat ground, recently. The teams were locked in 2-2 draw at full time.

Abinav Vidya Mandir had their noses in front in the first session but OL of Piety bounced back in the second half and scored two quick goals to take the lead. However, in the closing stages, Abinav Vidya Mandir restored parity to force a tie-breaker.
Shivam Kolvekar, Ismail Kaji, Punit Naik and Omkar Velip of OL of Piety scored in the tie-breaker while their opponents could covert only thrice in the shoot-out. 
They are being trained by PE teacher Suresh Babu. 
Headmaster Fr Santosh D’Souza and the school management congratulated the team for the success.
