PANJIM: Shri Shantadurga Vidyalay, Pirna emerged champions of the Bardez taluka U-17 girls tennikoit tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, recently.
In the final, they defeated Janata High School Mapusa 2-0.
Neha Naik, Akanksha Desai, Rani Jalgekar and Amita Zore represented Pirna School.
Dona Leonar Memorial High School, Alto Betim got the better of Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School, Porvorim 2-0 to secure the third place.
