Noah D’Silva will meet Siddarth Nunes in the finals (boys under-19) of all-Goa Open Table Tennis tournament on January 19, at Panjim Gymkhana, Campal, at 4.30 p.m.
In the semi-finals, Noah D’Silva outplayed Kyle Cummings 8-3 while Siddarth Nunes took the better of Sydney Palha 8-3.
The chief guest will be Dr. Susana De Souza, director of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Following are the other results: Boys (U-14): Rishabh Kalokhe beat Kurt Fernandes 6-2. Kyle Cummings beat Yohan Proenca 6-2 and Joshva D’silva beat Zoran Proenca 6-0. Veteran doubles (semis): Vaman Tari and Pradip K beat Dr. Murlitharan and partner 9-5.
Sameer Kakodkar and Sadguru Dessai beat Glen and partner 9-7.
Men doubles: Kevin Rebelo and Sachin Dukle beat Christian Cummings and Bukky 6-2, 7- 5 to enter the semi-finals.
