RAIA: Driver Siddesh Naik and co-driver Cletus Pires bagged the Champion of the Year Rolling Trophy in the Off-Road Challenge 2023 organised by Off-Rroad Trail Club (OTC) Goa at Navelim, recently.
Other category winners were: Nolan Fernandes (First – Jimny/Thar 2020), Akhil Vaz(First – Stock Petrol), Pratik Mohite (Secone – Stock Petrol), Pauras Patil (First – Stock Diesel), Siddhart Joshi (First -Modified Petrol), Viddesh Madgaonkar (Second – Modified Petrol), Siddesh Naik (First – Modified Diesel), Sheryl Fernandes (Second – Modified Diesel), Viddesh Madgaonkar (First – Pro-Modified Open), Sairaj Sawant (Second – Pro-Modified Open).
Margao Constituency MLA Digambar Kamat flaged off the event in the presence of Prabhav Naik. Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas handed over the prizes to all the winners.
This was the third season of Goa Off-Rroad Challenge organised by OTC, which saw participation by 35 4×4 vehicles in six categories – Jimny/Thar 2020, Stock Petrol, Stock Diesel, Modified Petrol, Modified Diesel, Pro-Modified Open.
A group of off-roaders from Satara, Maharashtra, travelled to Goa specially to participate in this event amongst off-roaders from across the State. The competition consisted of six tracks, each designed to test the ability and skill of the vehicle and the driver. All the stages were designed and managed by Team OTC.
