PONDA: Pratik Tirodkar’s goal helped Sinquerim Sports Club, Sinquerim to secure a semi-final spot in the 32nd All Goa St Anne’s Festival inter village soccer tournament, organised by Ponda Footballers, at Animal Husbandry ground, Curti-Ponda, on Friday.
In the inaugural match, Sinquerim Sports Club, Sinquerim defeated SSC Loutolim by a solitary goal. Pratik Tirodkar scored the goal off a corner-kick in the 64th minute.
Vinod Naik gave away man-of-the-match prize to Pratik Tirodkar. Sinquerim will now face the winner of Ponda Footballers and Goa Velha SC on July 16.
