MAPUSA: Siolim Sodiem Sports Club registered a fluent 3-1 win over Candolim Sports Club in the inaugural match of the 14th Reira Soccer Trophy, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, played at Saligao Sporting ground on Sunday.
Siolim’s Shervin Lobo opened the account in the 20th minute with a neat placement shot. Candolim’s Frazer equalised from inside the penalty box just before the breather.
In the last ten minutes of the game, Siolim’s Sudin Shirodkar completed his brace to take the score tally to 3-1. Daryl Pereira inaugurated the tournament.
