PANJIM: A six-goal blitz from Diptesh Gaonkar helped Sirlim Sports Club humble CRC Chinchinim 10-0 in the Goa Football Association U-16 League match, played at Artificial Turf ground, on Monday.
Diptesh was the hero for Sirlim team as he completed his hat-trick in 21 minutes in the first half. The striker was quick with the ball and was also confident in dribbling the rival players. Roshmen Gomendes and Adriel Mendes were the other goal scorers for Sirlim club in the first half.
Roshmen opened the goal scoring in the second half before Diptesh continued his onslaught as he smashed in three more goals, thus completing his double hat-trick. Shenoy Fernandes scored the tenth goal for the winning side.
