RAIA: Sirlim Sports Club defeated Salcete FC 4-2 via tie-breaker to emerge State champions in the GFA U-15 Division II League football match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, on Friday.
Leading by 2-0 at the breather, Ethan Leitao scored a brace, while Roy Fernandes and Subinay Dessai netted a goal each for Sirlim SC.
For Salcete FC, Haystan Fernandes and Josley Gomes scored a goal each.
At the end of regulation time, both teams settled for a
2-2 draw. In the resultant tie-breaker, Sirlim SC proved to be the better shooters.
