PANJIM: The Sports Journalists Association of Goa (SJAG) will be organizing Vijay Gad memorial inter-media limited overs cricket tournament, from March 11 to 14, at Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) ground, Campal, here.
Interested media teams may submit their entries by March 7 to president of SJAG Sudhakar Naik, secretary Kishor Petkar, treasurer Manguesh Borkar and Sharad Naik.
The Rolling trophy in memory of Vijay Gad (former sports editor of Navprabha) is donated by his son Rajesh Gad.
Only newspaper publications, electronic media from Goa, All India Radio, Doordarshan (Panjim) will be allowed to participate. For every player, identity card is compulsory of respective organization with team entry form.
No professional or players registered with Goa Cricket Association will be allowed to play. Only working journalists and full time employees in other departments of the publication, electronic media will be allowed to play. All the participating teams will have to bring their own playing kit. Only balls will be provided by the organizers.
