PANJIM: SKC Goa emerged champions of the Arab Premier League T10 Championship, organised by Team Dubai Indians under Ajman Cricket Council, defeating Desert Star Rajasthan by 32 runs in the final, at Ajman Oval ground recently.
Batting first, SKC Goa scored 88 runs for 5 in the allotted 10 overs. Omakar (32) Dessai was the top scorer for the batting side. Praveen Acharya (3/10) was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Desert Rajasthan managed to score just 56 for 6. Imroz Khan (3/15) impressed with the ball for the Goa team.
Goa’s Omkar Dessai was awarded man of the match for his brilliant knock.
The four-day tournament witnessed 16 partake in the day-night tournament from India, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE.
