The State level ranking tournament saw some exciting matches played on the international style blue clay courts. Rajendra (Bulu) took down Prateek (9-1) in an intense match late Monday evening.
In the ladies singles category, Sheetal beat Shanley (9-3) while Saumya got the better of Anudnya (9-3) to make it to the next round. Shilpa, however, went down to Shirley (9-0) in the morning session. In the opening match of the veterans singles, Glen took down Guru Gawde (9-7). The matches are open to spectators and tennis fans.
