MAPUSA: South Goa United Club of Sports & Cultural Club Jrs had an easy outing as they trounced Calangute Association Jrs by 22-0 margin in the GFA’s Boys U-13 league (1st Div) match held at Guirim grounds here on Monday.
South Goa United went into the breather with 10-0 margin.
Mohammed Kasim (7) and Elsan D’Souza (6) did most of the damage scoring thirteen goals among them.
Star Dungdung (3), Rajay Pai (2) and Joshua Jena (4) added their names to the scorers list.
In the next match Futebol Club YFA defeated Vasco SC Jrs by 7-0 margin.
YFA struck two quick goals in the 4th and 8th minute through Jaime Soares from outside the penalty box.
Skipper Warren Rodrigues made it 3-0 before the breather.
On crossing over Warren Rodrigues goal bound shot hit defender for the fourth goal.
For Vasco lads Anshuman Mayekar and Addison Rodrigues goal bound strikes were saved by rival goalkeeper Aryaveer Agrawal.
Cristiano Carvalho, and Eric Teles (2) hammered in three more goals to take their score tally to 7-0.
In the next match Churchill Bros Jrs defeated Cortalim Villagers Jrs by 6-3 margin, while FC Goa Jrs drubbed Geno FC Jrs by 21-5 margin.
