However, Dempo SC surged ahead in the 35th minute as Kapil finished neatly off an assist by Vinet Bugalhe.
Crossing over, Sporting Clube de Goa started afresh and equalized in the 55th minute through Daryl Costa, who headed in a cross by Gautam Dias.
As the match progressed, Sporting Clube took control of the proceedings and took the lead in the 83rd minute through Snedden Rodrigues’ grounder off an assist by Gautam.
