Sporting Clube in finals diogo soccer

Sporting Clube de Goa Veterans defeated last year champions Bardez Veterans 3-0 to enter the finals of the All-Goa Diogo Vaz memorial veterans soccer tournament organized by Don Bosco Past Pupils Association, Panjim. There was no score in the first half.
Changing over, Sporting scored three goals including a self goal in the 33rd minute by Srikant of Bardez. The other goal scorers for Sporting were captain Pascoal who scored in the 36th minute and Fermin Fernandes in the 41st minute.
Elvis Pereira of Bardez Veterans and Mariahno Mascarenhas of Sporting were awarded prizes for their outstanding performances.
Savio Messias was the chief guest.
