The young Flaming Oranje came into this match high on confidence banking on their previous two resounding wins. The match started with an even share of ball possession with both teams trying to have a cautious approach.
It was Sporting Clube who drew the first blood in the 13th minute when Sarineo Fernandes got hold of a good ball at the edge of 18-yard mark to send it sailing past the Pax of Nagoa custodian. In less than two minutes, Shubert Pereira doubled the lead with a good low shot making it 2-0 in favour of Sporting Clube within 15 minutes.
After the second goal, Pax of Nagoa lads slowly settled in and launched their offensive but the Sporting Clube defence stood tall to keep the danger at bay.
Sporting Clube took sometime to get back into the scoring mode. It wasn’t until the added time of the first half when Shubert came back haunting the Pax of Nagoa defenders to send a powerful header in to make it 3-0 for Sporting Clube.
In the second half, Sporting Clube struck early as Desmon Pereira scored in the 48th minute with a powerful right footed shot making it 4-0 for Sporting Clube.
The Pax of Nagoa players fought back well and created some anxious moments for the Sporting Clube defence but couldn’t convert any of the good build ups.
Final goal of the match came in the 73rd minute when Shubert Pereira completed his hat-trick deservingly to make it 5-0. With this win Sporting Clube have collected nine points from four matches.
