Sporting Clube unveil Creson

PANJIM: Sporting Clube de Goa unveiled defender Creson Antao, at the SCG Head quarters, in Panjim, on Tuesday.

Creson has joined from Panjim rivals Dempo Sports Club after the formalities were completed, on Monday.
The 30-year old from Majorda, could be thrown straight into the deep end and make his debut against Dempo in this Sunday’s sensational season opener, GFA Charity Cup match.
Creson enjoyed a successful period with his former club, where he helped them to win four National title, including three I-League trophies but his fondest memory was reaching the semi-finals of the AFC Cup with The Golden Eagles.
“Winning trophies is a great feeling and I came to Sporting Clube de Goa to continue that trend,” stated Creson.
Creson has showen tremendous work ethic in the pre-season training with Sporting Clube, being one of the first to reach the training ground.
“The players have made me feel at home very quickly, I like the atmosphere of the group,” remarked Creson who is looking to flourish at his new club.
“Creson is a strong player, with good height and is comfortable on the ball. With his experience I am sure if he stays committed he can become an integral part of the team,” stated Sporting Clube head coach Oscar Bruzon.­
