Sporting, Fr Agnelo, Dunes win

MAPUSA: A first half brace from Jonathan Cardoso gave Sporting Clube de Goa a 4-0 victory over Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim, in GFA U-14 football, Thursday. After the break Dwayne Britto and Eugencio Machedo added another two for Sporting.

At Batim ground, Vilson Colaso scored a double hat-trick as Fr Agnelo Youth Club, Pilar defeated Santo Estevam SC 14-0. Fr Agnelo led 4-0 at half time which was all scored by Vilson. After the interval Vilson added a further two, while Kunal Kudnaikar and Chandan Gawas scored a hat-trick each and Ashley Cardoso a brace.

A hat-trick from left winger Lionel D’Souza helped Dunes SC to a 6-0 win over Goa United Sports Academy at Morjim. Lesley Britto netted a fine brace with two good shots from outside the box and Aaron Fernandes placed the sixth past the goalkeeper.

A solitary strike from Sahil Moraskar allowed Holiday SC Arpora to overcome El Shaddai SCC 1-0 at Tembi ground, Anjuna.

In the Mormugao Derby, Vasco and Salgaocar shared  points after the game ended 1-1 at Cansaulim ground. Five minutes into the second session, Jeremy Viegas gave Salgaocar the lead, but just two minutes later Agostinho D’Silva leveled for Vasco.

At Quepem, Guardian Angel SC and Orlim SC drew 1-1. Amiro Felizardo opened for Guardian Angel just before the break, but Pricevel Fernandes equalised for Orlim.
