D-Licence football course
PANJIM: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is likely to conduct a D-Licence coaching course in Goa from February 19-24. Those interested may collect details about the criteria for selection from GFA secretariat in Panjim, during office hours, and submit entries by February 15.
Ramani marathon in Ponda
PANJIM: The 5th annual Dr P S Ramani mini, half marathons organized by Ahilyabai Ramani Prathisthan, Wadi, Talaulim, Ponda will be held on February 17 from Wadi, Ponda.

Volleyball at Patradevi

KV INS Mandovi sports
PANJIM: Over 100 primary and secondary school students participated at 29th annual sports of Kendriya Vid INS Mandovi. Michael Lobo, MLA was the chief guest. Delila Lobo, Parra sarpanch was the guest of honour. Six students participated at National School Games conducted by SGFI and 13 at KVS meet in Lucknow. Michael announced an assistance of Rs 5,00,000 to develop a children’s park for the school. Lt Cdr Shilpa Awasthi, SEDO spoke. Principal Kishor Kumar welcomed.Sudhakaran P.V. proposed the vote of thanks.
U-20 football trials
MARGAO: Churchill Brothers Sports Club will conduct selection trials for their under-20 I-league football team on February 16 from 3.30 p.m. at Cansaulim complex. Players born on or after January 1, 1993 are eligible. Players may report with original birth certificates and full playing kit at the venue.
