Nuvem face Siolim in inaugural match
CALANGUTE: Nuvem will face Siolim Veterans in the inaugural match of 1st all-Goa Dr Gustavo Monteiro memorial veterans football tournament on February 18 at Dr Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim, at 4.45 p.m.
Quepem Veterans, Chinchinim Veterans, Panjim Veterans, Aldona Veterans, Bardez Veterans, Tuff Veterans, Ponda Veterans, Navelim Veterans, Conny Veterans and hosts Candolim Veterans will also vie for the top spot.
The winners will receive Rs 30,000 while the runners-up will take home Rs 20,000.
U-12 football in Panjim
PANJIM: The all-Goa under-12 football tournament organized by Sporting Clube de Goa in association with Don Bosco HS, Panjim will be held on February 16 at Don Bosco ground, here, 8.30 a.m. The final will be held at 5 p.m.
