Tennis ball hit-out cricket

Learn to swim classes

PANJIM: The SAG will organize learn to swim classes at Campal from January 22 to February 10 from 7 to 8 a.m. for gents, 8 to 9 a.m. for children and ladies, 5 to 6 p.m. for children and 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. for ladies and gents. Details may be obtained from SAG’s reception counter from 6 a.m. to 12 noon and 3 to 6 p.m. except on Mondays and holidays.

Nine-a-side cricket at Sulcorna

PANJIM: The nine-a-side cricket tournament organized by Don Bosco Sulcorna will be held on January 20 at Sulcorna. Rs 10,000; Rs 7,000 will be awarded. Entries close on January 19 and details may be obtained on 3260711 or 9764772064.

Hockey tourney at Areal

PANJIM: The Navelim Hockey Club will organize their one-day  all Goa hockey tournament for men on January 20 at King’s School ground, Sao Jose de Areal. Teams may contact Melchior Alemao on 9860173804. Players registered with Goans Hockey are eligible to to play. Matches will commence at 9 a.m.

Football referees course

PANJIM: The Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) and Goa Football Association (GFA) will organize the new entrant referees course on January 19 and 20 at SAG sports complex, Campal, Panjim. Those who have registered have been asked to report at 8.30 a.m. The course has received good response following the efforts of GFDC.
