3-a-side tie-breaker at Carambolim
PANJIM: The 3rd all-Goa 3-a-side football tie-breaker organized by Friends of Carambolim will be held on March 2 at Carambolim ground, from 6.30 to 11 p.m. The winners will get Rs 3,003 while the runners-up will take home Rs 2,002.
Leather ball cricket at Ponda
PONDA: The 5th all-Goa leather ball cricket tournament organized by Sharp Sports Club, Ponda will be held from March 9 to 17 at GEC ground, Farmagudi, Ponda.
Only the first 32 entries will be accepted. Entries may be submitted by March 5. The winners will get Rs 30,000 plus a trophy while the runners-up will take home Rs 15,000 and a trophy. The semi-finalists will get Rs 6,000 each.

‘Learn to Swim Classes’ in Mapusa
PANJIM: The ‘Learn to Swim Classes’ organized by SAG will be held from March 5 to 24 at Peddem Swimming Pool Complex, Peddem, Mapusa.
Schedule — Morning session: 7 to 8 a.m. (men); 8 to 9 a.m. (women and children). Evening session: 4.30 to 5.30 p.m. (children); 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. (mix batch for men and women).

PONDA: The 1st all-Goa taluka level leather ball cricket tournament for physical education teachers (higher secondary – taluka wise) organized by Ponda Physical Education Teachers Association will be held from March 11 at sports complex ground, Ponda.
