Football tourney in Ponda
PANJIM: The 7th Ponda taluka football tournament organized by United Sports Club, Mardol (USC) will be held from July 6 at Mardol ground. Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 will be awarded to the winners and runners-up respectively.

GFA’s fitness session for referees
PANJIM: The GFA will be conducting physical training sessions for referees, every Sunday from June 23 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa and outside the PJN Stadium, Margao for referees from North and South Goa respectively.
The GFA has asked all referees to attend the sessions and report at the respective venues at 7 a.m.
Football tourney at Corlim
PANJIM: The 5-a-side football tournament organized by Vedant Art and Cultural Club will be held on June 23 at Montfort ground, Corlim, 8.30 a.m.
Rs 3,333 and Rs 2,222 will be awarded to the winners and runners-up respectively.

7-a-side football in Valpoi
VALPOI: The 1st all-Goa one day 7-a-side football tournament organized by Youth of Valpoi will be held on June 23 at Municipal ground, Valpoi. The winners will be awarded Rs 10,000 while the runners-up will have to be content with Rs 7000. Only 16 teams will be allowed to participate. Entries may be submitted by June 21 on 9049538729.
