Floodlit cricket at Pernem
PANJIM: The All-Goa and inter-Pernem Taluka light ball floodlit cricket tournaments organized by Friends Sports and Cultural Club, Pernem will be held on April 26, 27 and 28 at Viscont HS ground, Nanerwada, Pernem.
In the All-Goa tourney, the winners will receive Rs 12,000 and a trophy while the runners-up will take home Rs 7,000 plus a trophy. In the inter-Pernem tourney, the winners will get Rs 6,000 while the runners-up will take home Rs 4,000.
Basketball tourney at Ponda
PONDA: The All-Goa basketball tournament for men and women organized by Sporting Club de Ponda, Ponda-Goa will be held on April 28, here.
In the men’s section, the winners will receive Rs 11,000 and a trophy while the runners-up will take home Rs 5,500 and a trophy. While in the women’s category, the winners will get Rs 4,000 plus a trophy while the runners-up will have to be content with Rs 2,000 and a trophy. Individual prizes will also be given.

TT, badminton camp at Calangute
PANJIM: A table tennis and badminton camp for boys and girls from Calangute organized by Calangute Association will be held from May 1 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The camp will be conducted by professional coaches from SAG and it will be held for beginners as well as others.
