MAPUSA: Twenty five sportspersons from Calangute, Siolim and Saligao Constituency who had secured medals at the 37th National Games in yatching, wushu, sqay and beach football were felicitated by Calangute MLA Michael Lobo and Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo, at Nazri Resort, Baga. Present were sarpanchas and ward members of Calangute, Siolim and Saligao Constituency.
Both the MLAs while speaking at the gathering, congratulated the winners for their hard work and dedication by securing medals in their respective disciplines and thus bringing honour to our State of Goa. The recipients were awarded memento, certificates and cash prizes by the of the dignitaries.
Bruno Coutinho, Director of Coaching SAG/Arjuna Awardee and Head Coach of Beach Football, that had secured silver medal proposed a vote of thanks.
