Put to bat first by Sportsweek, Polem ‘B’ raised a fighting total of 215 all out in 34.3 overs. Mandar Tari (63) displayed a fine batting performance. Mayur Tari (26), Sandesh Velip (18) and Samrat Pagi (23) also batted well for Polem ‘B’.
Vikram Gaitonde 3-20 was the pick of the bowlers. Digesh Angle 2-30, Vijeet Naik 2-34 also bowled well. Agildas Alambatta, Nitin Kalekar and Amey Kossambe took a wicket each.
In reply, Sportsweek reached the given target in 34.1 overs with five wickets to spare. Sujay Kamat (87 not out) was the star performer who along with Ashish Patnekar (42) shared an important fifth wicket 123 runs partnership. Amey Kossambe (25 not out) finished the match for Sportsweek. Uday and Vaishak took two wickets each.
