Squash: Yash moves into quarters

PANJIM: Yash Fadte, 17 years old lad from Vasco supported by GoSports Foundation made it to the quarter-finals of HCL Professional Squash Association (PSA) Squash Championship on his debut, which is a 10,000 dollar event and has top senior players at the event from all over the world. 
In the quarters, Yash will be facing number three seed Amar AlTamimi from Kuwait, who is a top 60 in the world in the senior category. Yash has got the wildcard for this big event as the top junior of the country. 
Yash got a bye in the first round. In the second round he beat Ravi Dixit, former India No. 2 and one of the top Indian squash players, 3-0 to advance into the next round. 
In the pre-quarters, he shocked the 5th seed and the current Senior Nationals runner-up Abhishek Pradhan 3-1 (11-2, 7-11, 11-9, 11-4 to reach the quarter-finals.
