PANJIM: SRSC, Corlim got the better of Belavista Sports Club, Corlim 3-2 via the tie-breaker in the final of the Corlim Panchayat Cup Football tournament, organized by United Sports Club, at Montfort Technical Institute ground, Corlim, recently. There was no score at full time.
The winners were awarded Rs 15,000 and a rolling trophy while the runners-up had to be content with Rs 10,000. Amanda Sporting, Panjim were adjudged Best team of the tournament.
Sarpanch of Corlim Panchayat Supriya Kerkar was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of other dignitaries.
