PANJIM: SS Angle Higher Secondary School outplayed Balaram Higher Secondary School by 14-4 points in the final to emerge champions in the Zone IV Boys Kho-Kho tournament organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Government Sports Complex, Borimol-Quepem, recently.
In the semi-final, SS Angle defeated last year’s winners United Higher Secondary School, Cuncolim 22-16. Earlier, in the first round, they defeated CTN Higher Secondary, Curchorem 19-4.
Jayant Gaonkar, Roshan Gaonkar, Indrajeet Gaonkar, Vishal Gaonkar and Rohan Gaonkar played well for the team to qualify in the South District Inter Zone Tournament.
