RAIA: St Andrew’s Higher Secondary School, Vasco, moved ahead in the Zone III Inter-Higher Secondary Girls football tournament played at Ambelim football ground, on Monday.
St Andrew’s HSS defeated Loyola Higher Secondary School, Margao by 3-0 margin. K Cardozo scored a brace while Alva Fernandes was the other scorer.
Meanwhile, St Mary’s High School, Varca, trounced Cuncolim United High School 6-0, to move ahead in the U-17 Salcete taluka boys football tournament played at Ambelim football ground. Shourya Naik scored a hat-trick while Debashish Swain, Regan Bhoie and Sandesh Kolkar scored a goal each.
