St Anthony SC opened the scoring in the 6th minute through Jerry Fernandes’ ground shot off a pass by Alton Vaz.
Cuncolim Union in search of an equaliser made an attempt through Jeston Fernandes but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper of St Anthony SC.
Post resumption, Cuncolim Union came from behind to score the equaliser through Francis Fernandes powerful shot which crushed into nylons of St Anthony SC goal off an assist by Saurab Fatrepekar.
Thereafter, the ball was mostly confined to the midfield till the end of the game with score 1-1 draw.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, St Anthony SC won by 12-11 score. Earlier, Jivanni and Brazzi Pacheco grandsons of late Joao Francisco Pacheco inaugurated the tournament by kicking the ball in the presence of Viola Pacheco and other club officials.
